BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. Azerbaijan produced 29,900 tons of polyethylene from January through February of this year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates
this volume's escalation by 5,500 tons (22.5 percent) relative to
the corresponding timeframe last year (24,400 tons).
It is noteworthy that within the specified reporting timeframe, the
production of ethylene derived from chemical industry outputs
experienced a robust increase of 12.9 percent, while the
manufacturing of propylene saw a commendable growth of 5.6
percent.
The fabrication of conduits, tubular structures, protective
casings, and flexible conduits derived from elastomeric and
polymeric materials experienced a contraction of 11.8 percent,
while the output of polyethylene containment solutions, including
bags and sacks, plummeted by 37.6 percent.
