BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. The nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat stood at 108.7 points against foreign currencies as of March 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates that this represents a slight decrease of 1.3 points compared to the previous month but an increase of 7.7 points compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, the nominal effective exchange rate of the manat for the non-oil sector stood at 180.8 points as of March 1, 2025, showing a decrease of 3.8 points from the previous month but an increase of 9.3 points from the same period in the previous year.
The real effective exchange rate of the manat as of March 1, 2025, was reported to be 124.6 points. This is a 1.4-point decrease month-on-month but an increase of 2.1 points compared to the same time last year.
Furthermore, the real effective exchange rate of the manat for the non-oil sector stood at 119.0 points, which is a decrease of 2.5 points compared to the previous month but an increase of 0.5 points year-on-year.
