ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 5. Kazakhstan Railways JSC has successfully completed the integration of its automated cargo transportation settlement management system with the banks of JSC "Bank CenterCredit," JSC "Freedom Bank Kazakhstan," and is in the final stages of integrating with JSC "ForteBank," Trend reports.
“To ensure the accuracy of customer accounts within the system, web services have been implemented for real-time deposit of funds into unified customer accounts. Integration work with JSC ‘Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan’ began in 2014, and this solution has allowed for up-to-date account management, even during weekends and holidays,” said Nurboluly Aset, Deputy Director of Development and Operation of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) at Kazakhstan Railways’ branch, "Automation and Digitalization Directorate."
He explained that through the integration with several second-tier banks, the process of online fund transfers to unified customer accounts has been enhanced. This improvement was made possible by establishing an IPSEC (Internet Protocol Security) tunnel for secure data exchange and introducing a service for real-time payment acceptance. Additionally, the request format in the SAP PO/PI (SAP Process Orchestration/Process Integration) integration bus was changed from SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) to REST (Representational State Transfer), which increased processing speed and reduced system load.
The automated cargo transportation settlement management
framework, synergistically aligned with the technological and
software ecosystems of JSC Kazakhstan Railways, was operationalized
in 2011 leveraging SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
architecture.
These frameworks and methodologies synergistically collaborate to
guarantee robust, streamlined, and optimal interoperability of
diverse systems and workflows.
