BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Tax revenues from Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas sector exceeded 3.22 million manat ($1.89 million) from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service indicates that these revenues saw an increase of 312 million manat ($183.5 million), or 10.7 percent, compared to the same period last year.
During the first quarter of 2025, nearly 4.38 million manat ($2.57 million) in taxes were collected for the state budget through the State Tax Service. This represents an increase of nearly 98.9 million manat ($58.1 million), or 2.3 percent, compared to the previous year.
Of the total taxes paid, 73.7 percent came from the non-oil and gas sector, while 26.3 percent was contributed by the oil and gas sector.
