ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 15. Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP (KPI - a subsidiary of JSC NC KazMunayGas) implemented an advanced management system for the finished products warehouse, Trend reports via KazMunayGas.
According to information, operations at the plant’s warehouse involving the movement of pallets weighing up to 1,500 kg were previously carried out manually using electric equipment. Now, the entire workflow for handling products coming off the packaging lines is not only automated but also performed by robots - without any human involvement.
“The foundation of the new system is an intelligent IT platform called WES (Warehouse Executive System), developed in partnership with the Kazakhstani company LLP AVVA Technologies. WES is directly integrated with all production lines and receives real-time data about the manufacturing process. The system knows the exact volume of products being produced and precisely when they will be ready to be sent to the warehouse. This allows for optimal distribution of robotic resources and the preparation of storage locations even before the pallets physically arrive, ensuring maximum efficiency at every stage — from receiving to shipping,” the information notes.
To date, KPI produces 11 grades of polypropylene, meeting domestic demand and actively expanding into export markets in both nearby and distant countries.
