BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. Azerbaijan produced 45,700 tons of petroleum coke from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that this figure represents a decrease of 15,400 tons or 25.2 percent compared to the same period in 2024 (61,100 tons).
Meanwhile, the volume of finished petroleum coke reserves stood at 18,200 tons as of April 1, 2025.
The total production value in the oil products manufacturing sector during the reporting period amounted to 1.25 billion manat ($735.2 million), which is a seven percent decrease compared to the same period of the previous year.
