ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 18. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Yessenov Technopark, located on the territory of Shakhmardan Yessenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering in Mangistau region, and reviewed the modern equipment of the technopark, Trend reports.

The technopark was established to support entrepreneurs, students, and schoolchildren engaged in the development and implementation of projects and startups.

"During the presentation, Tokayev was shown innovative laboratories and workshops where students and young professionals gain practical skills in areas such as electronics, robotics, laser cutting, woodworking and metalworking, printing, 3D design, and sewing," the press service of the President of Kazakhstan notes.

The President paid special attention to the training area for preparing IT specialists under the international program, as well as the laboratory for the development of digital and telecommunication competencies.

Speaking to the students, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the development of high technologies and artificial intelligence is of special importance today. He emphasized the importance of training qualified specialists in the field of transportation and logistics and urged young people to strive for quality education, which is the key to a successful future.

Meanwhile, as part of his working trip to Mangistau region, the President of Kazakhstan also plans to hold a meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of the region.
