BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. The cost of investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan's construction sector reached 900.5 million manat ($531.3 million) from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure grew by 12.8 percent year on year.
During the reporting period, the cost of investment in fixed capital in the country's housing construction sector totaled 682.9 million ($403.9 million), up 2.9 times compared to the same period of 2024.
Meanwhile, the total final share of investments in fixed assets in housing construction last year amounted to 19.7 percent.
in the first quarter of this year, a total of manat 3.5 billion ($2.07 billion) was invested in fixed capital, which is 10.1 percent less compared to the same period of the previous year.
Investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 24.2 percent, while investments in the non-oil and gas sector declined by 2.4 percent.
