ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 26. More than 100 million tons have been transported through the Kenkiyak-Atyrau pipeline, Trend reports via the press service of JSC "KazTransOil."
"LLP 'North-West Pipeline Company 'MunaiTas,' a joint venture between KazTransOil (51 percent) and CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd (49 percent), reports achieving a significant milestone: since the pipeline's commissioning in 2003, over 100 million tons of oil have been transported through the Kenkiyak-Atyrau main oil pipeline," said the company's statement.
In 2024, 44 million tons of oil were transported through the system of KazTransOil.
Starting January 1, 2025, KazTransOil has increased the tariff for oil transportation services via its main pipelines for export outside of Kazakhstan: by 1,150 tenge $2.19, bringing it to 11,300 tenge per ton per 1,000 km (excluding VAT), which is approximately $21.47 per ton per 1,000 km (excluding VAT).
KazTransOil is the national operator of the main oil pipelines. It is part of the group of NC "KazMunayGas." The company owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines spanning 5,400 km and provides operational services for the pipelines of third-party organizations covering more than 5,000 km.
