BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. The nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies was 105.9 points as of April 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank (CBA) shows that this figure decreased by 2.8 points in the monthly comparison and 2.2 points year on year.
Meanwhile, as of March 1, the nominal effective exchange rate of the manat in the non-oil sector was 176.2 points, which is 4.6 points less than the monthly comparison and 3.2 points more than the same period last year.
Besides, the real effective exchange rate of the manat as of March 1, 2025, was 121.1 points, which is 3.5 points less than the monthly comparison and 0.7 points less than the annual comparison.
Moreover, during the reporting period, the real effective exchange rate of the manat in the non-oil sector was equal to 115.8 points, which decreased by 3.2 points in monthly terms and 2.9 points in annual terms.
