TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 28. Over 2.9 million passengers were transported by rail in Uzbekistan during the first quarter of 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee shows that passenger traffic increased by 90,000 people, or 3.2 percent, compared to the same period in 2024.
In 2024, Uzbekistan’s railways saw a total of 9.8 million passengers, highlighting the continued growth in rail transport across the country.
