BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 30. Azerbaijan's Interbank Card Center (ICC) processed 68,369 transactions worth 3.2 billion manat ($1.9 billion) in March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank (CBA) shows that this represents an impressive volume growth of 25,006 (57.7 percent) and a value rise of 1.1 billion manat ($650 million), or 53.1 percent, compared to March 2024.
Moreover, the ICC processed transactions totaling $4.9 million in March of this year, with 18,200 transactions. This shows a nearly 1,000 (5.2 percent) decrease in transaction volume and maintenance of the value year on year.
Furthermore, in the reporting month, the ICC processed 10,000 payment transactions worth 1.2 million euro. This indicator went down by 71,500 (87.7 percent) in terms of volume, and 1.5 million euro (55.6 percent) in monetary terms compared to the same month of last year.
