BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. The number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan reached 816,700 people as of May 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy shows that this figure grew by 1.2 percent compared to the beginning of the current year.
At the same time, as of May 1 of this year, the number of active VAT payers in the country rose by 3.8 percent to 54,800.
To date, the number of active economic entities (objects) has increased by 2.6 percent and amounts to 223,100.
