TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 7. Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 3.6 million tons of cement in the first quarter of 2025 (January–March).
Data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistical Committee marks a significant increase of 1.4 million tons compared to the same period in 2024.
Cement production in the first quarter has shown consistent growth, rising from 2,025.500 tons in 2023 to 2,258,000 tons in 2024, reflecting an 11.5 percent increase. The most striking growth occurred in 2025, with production surging to 3,646,800 tons, marking a remarkable 61.5 percent year-on-year rise.
