BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 9. Azerbaijan exported 90,700 tons of organic chemical compounds worth $28.3 million from January through March of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that this marks a $5.5 million (24.2 percent) growth in value, but a decrease of 26,800 tons (22.8 percent) in volume compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, organic chemical compound exports accounted for 0.44 percent of the country's total exports.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan imported organic chemical compounds worth $10.3 million in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of $5.3 million or 33.9 percent.
