The European Union Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Aleška Simkić, has completed her working visit to the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan, where she held a series of meetings with local officials, businesspeople, and representatives of educational institutions, Trend reports via the press-service of EU Delegation to Kazakhstan.
The main topics of discussion were investment opportunities,
tourism development, as well as transportation and logistics
issues.
"As part of the visit, the ambassador visited key ports in the
region - Aktau and Kuryk and reviewed ongoing projects and
discussed the prospects for developing sustainable and
environmentally friendly logistics. These meetings highlighted the
importance of green technologies and their role in modernizing
infrastructure," the statement reads.
Moreover, at Yessenov University, Aleška Simkić gave a lecture on
EU-Kazakhstan cooperation and introduced students to leading
