BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Azerbaijan produced 674.2 tons of copper concentrate from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this marks a surge of 601.9 tons in copper concentrate production, representing a 9.3-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024 (72.3 tons)
The volume of ready copper concentrate reserves in the country amounted to 154.8 tons as of May 1, 2025.
Azerbaijan produced around 378.8 tons of copper concentrate in 2024. This figure was 1,743 tons, or 5.6 times lower than the amount produced in 2023 (2,122 tons).
