BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Azerbaijan churned out a whopping 12,400 tons of lubricants from the start of January to the end of April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this metric indicates a reduction of 7,900 tons, equating to a 38.9 percent contraction, relative to the corresponding timeframe in 2024 (20,300 tons).
Concurrently, the national inventory of completed lubricant formulations was recorded at 4,700 metric tons as of May 1, 2025.
The aggregate valuation of hydrocarbon product output in Azerbaijan reached 1.6 billion manat ($941.1 million) during the specified reporting interval, reflecting a 9.9 percent contraction relative to the analogous timeframe of the previous fiscal year.
