BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Azerbaijan cranked out 71,900 tons of liquefied gas from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that
this metric experienced a contraction of 4,300 tons, reflecting a
5.6 percent decline relative to the corresponding timeframe of
2024, which stood at 76,200 tons.
As of May 1 of this fiscal year, the inventory of processed
liquefied gas within the national reserves totaled 1,600 metric
tons.
To note, liquefied gas production in Azerbaijan reached 166,000 metric tons in 2024.
