BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. The dollarization level of deposits of individuals decreased by 0.6 percentage points in the first quarter of 2025 and amounted to 33.1 percent by the end of the period.
The data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank (CBA) shows that the dollarization of deposits of households, excluding deposits of non-resident individuals, was 30.1 percent.
Over the past year, the dollarization level of deposits of individuals decreased by two percentage points, and the dollarization of deposits of households, excluding deposits of non-resident individuals, - by 1.4 percentage points.
As of the end of this March, the share of foreign currency in deposits of legal entities amounted to 46.2 percent.
