BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. Azerbaijan produced 16,400 tons of margarine from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this volume grew by 478 tons, or three percent, compared to the same period last year (15,900 tons).
During the reporting period, 8,700 tons of butter were produced, which is 223 tons, or 2.5 percent, less than in the first four months of 2024 (8,900 tons).
Azerbaijan's food production amounted to 1.77 billion manat ($1.04 billion) during this period.
