BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. Azerbaijan produced a total of 85,100 tons of table sugar and sugar from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that this indicator grew by 31,800 tons (59.7 percent) compared to the same period last year (53,300 tons).
As of May 1 of this year, the amount of finished table sugar and sugar reserves in the country was 5,700 tons, which is 2,400 tons (72.7 percent) more than in the first four months of 2024.
