BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 4. Azerbaijan exported 2,044 tons of oil bitumen to Georgia from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this generated $534,200 in revenue to the country.
Moreover, Azerbaijan's petroleum bitumen exports to Georgia during this time reflect a 1,930-ton increase in volume — or a 17.9-fold growth — and a $513,000 rise in value, representing a 25.2-fold increase, compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, bitumen exports to Georgia totaled only 114.5 tons, valued at $21,200, in the first quarter of 2024.
