BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. The number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan reached 818,500 people as of June 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of
Economy shows that this metric experienced an uptick of 1.4 percent
relative to the commencement of the fiscal year.
Furthermore, as of June 1 of the current fiscal year, the active
VAT registrants in the nation experienced an uptick of 4.8 percent,
reaching a total of 55,300 entities.
As of the specified date, the aggregate count of operational
economic entities (objects) experienced an uptick of 3.8 percent,
culminating in a total of 225,700.
