BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Azerbaijan's public catering sector saw a healthy uptick from January through May 2025, with turnover climbing by 16.6 percent in real terms compared to the same stretch last year, hitting a robust 987.9 million manat ($581.1 million).
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates
that in the realm of public catering turnover within the private
sector, a substantial 51.3 percent is attributed to legal entities,
whereas individual entrepreneurs operating in this domain account
for the remaining 48.7 percent.
The data indicates that the churn rate among corporate entities
escalated by 17 percent relative to the corresponding timeframe
from the previous fiscal year, culminating in a total of 502.2
million manat ($295.4 million).
