BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan produced 495.6 million manat ($291.5 million) worth of products in the metallurgy industry and finished metal goods sectors from January through May 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that production in the finished metal goods sector declined by 9.6 percent, while metallurgy industry output dropped by 12.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
In detail, the production of rebar fell by 15.8 percent, steel casting by 21.3 percent, copper wire by 82.8 percent, and other metal products in the finished metal goods sector decreased by 42.9 percent during this period.
