BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan issued 197,724 “ASAN İmza” (Easy Signature) certificates based on 131,490 applications from January through May 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy indicates that service centers received 256,215 individuals and provided a total of 406,303 services during the same period.
Of these, over 139,000 were verbal consultations addressing questions related to tax legislation and administration, while more than 95,000 were electronic services assisting with the preparation and submission of declarations, reports, and various applications in digital format.
The State Tax Service reported that nearly 15,000 written inquiries from taxpayers were answered, and more than 11.9 million informational notifications were issued. Additionally, 174 meetings involving 1,908 taxpayers were organized, and targeted services were delivered to 2,161 individuals. In a move to enhance preventive awareness, around 1.56 million SMS notifications were sent to taxpayers' mobile numbers.
