PremiumUzbekistan’s tomato exports drop sharply in early 2025

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 19. Uzbekistan exported 8,860 tons of tomatoes valued at $10.3 million from January to April 2025.

Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee shows a noticeable decline compared to the same period in 2024, when the country exported 11,600 tons of tomatoes worth $11.4 million.

Countries to which Uzbekistan exported the most tomatoes in the first four months of 2025:

• Russia – 8,031 tons

• Kyrgyz Republic – 379 tons

• Kazakhstan – 329 tons

• UAE – 89 tons

• Belarus – 11 tons

• Other countries – 21 tons
