BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Around 20,100 apartments were constructed in Azerbaijan using all sources of financing.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that apartments with an average size of 117.2 square meters were built across the country.
In juxtaposition, approximately 22,700 residential units, with a
mean area of 109.5 square meters, were operational in the preceding
year, signifying a contraction of 2,600 units, equating to a
decline of over 11.5 percent relative to 2023.
It is pertinent to highlight that the aggregate count of
residential units constructed via diverse funding mechanisms was
approximately 50,400 in the fiscal year 2020, around 16,700 in
2021, and close to 25,300 in 2022. In the preceding five-year
interval, this denotes a decrement exceeding 30,300 units,
translating to a contraction by a multiplicative factor of 2.5.
