BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Azerbaijan's individual remittances to Israel amounted to $1.1 million in the first quarter of 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan shows that this figure grew by $302,000, or 1.4 times, compared to the same period in the first quarter of 2024.
During the reporting period, Israel’s share of total outgoing money transfers from Azerbaijan was one percent.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of this year, Israel's individual remittances to Azerbaijan totaled $2.4 million, which is $1.1 million, or 32.6 percent, less compared to the first quarter of 2024.
The proportion of total remittances flowing into Azerbaijan from
Israel during the specified reporting interval constituted a mere
one percent.
During Q1 2024, Azerbaijan's outbound remittance flow to Israel
registered at $796,000, whereas the inbound remittance influx from
Israel amounted to $3.5 million.
In the initial quarter of 2025, the aggregate volume of individual
remittances originating from Azerbaijan to international
jurisdictions reached $112.7 million, reflecting a decrement of
$18.8 million, or 14.3 percent, relative to the corresponding
timeframe in 2024.
At the same time, during the reporting period, individual remittances from foreign countries to Azerbaijan amounted to $229.5 million, which is a $64.9 million, or 22.1 percent, year-on-year decrease.
