TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 27. Uzbekistan exported $3.25 billion worth of services between January and May 2025, accounting for 21.9 percent of the country’s total exports.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee indicates a 32.2 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The growth in services exports was primarily driven by four key sectors:

Travel (tourism) – 50.2 percent

Transport services – 35.2 percent

Telecommunications, computer, and information services – 8.6 percent

Other business services – 3.3 percent
Within the "other services" category, the largest contributors were:

Insurance and pension services – 1.0 percent

Financial services – 0.9 percent
This strong performance highlights Uzbekistan’s continued efforts to diversify its economy and promote service-oriented sectors such as tourism, logistics, finance, and digital technologies.
