ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 30. Turkmenistan aims to expand its partnership with Japan’s Toyo Engineering Corporation through new joint projects in the energy and chemical sectors, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This intention was expressed during a meeting between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Haruo Nagamatsu, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Toyo Engineering Corporation, who visited Ashgabat on the occasion of the second anniversary of the founding of the city of Arkadag.
The visitor lauded Turkmenistan's advancements in contemporary
urbanization and conveyed felicitations to the head of state. In a
strategic maneuver, the Turkmen leader acknowledged the enduring
synergies with Toyo Engineering and articulated optimism that the
engagement would catalyze a renewed momentum in bilateral
relations.
The parties conducted a comprehensive analysis of the existing
synergies within the hydrocarbon, petrochemical, and chemical
sectors, wherein Toyo Engineering has been a pivotal contributor,
and deliberated on avenues to augment their collaborative framework
through innovative industrial ventures.
President Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan's strategic
receptiveness to external capital influx and cutting-edge
technological integration, expressing a willingness to evaluate
concrete propositions from the Japanese contingent.
