BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8. The count of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan has seen a 13 percent uptick, climbing to a total of 21,282 individuals as of July 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service shows that in the reporting period the number of active VAT payers in Nakhchivan rose by 12.5 percent year-on-year, reaching 576.
Concurrently, as of the specified date, the aggregate count of
operational economic entities experienced a growth trajectory of
6.8 percent, culminating in a total of 6,050 entities.
It is noteworthy that the aggregate count of active tax
contributors in Azerbaijan experienced a 1.7 percent uptick as of
July 1 relative to the commencement of the fiscal year, culminating
in a total of 820,900 individuals.
The cohort of active VAT contributors experienced an uptick of 5.2
percent, culminating in a total of 55,600 participants in the
fiscal ecosystem.
As of the specified date, the quantity of operational economic
entities (objects) experienced an uptick of four percent,
culminating in a total of 226,100.
