Iran announces latest figures on guaranteed wheat purchases from farmers
Iran has purchased around 5.6 million tons of wheat from farmers under a guaranteed procurement program since early April, with payments for about half of it already made. The government has allocated nearly $1.7 billion for this initiative, with Khuzestan province leading in volume supplied.
