BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. Iran's Arvandan Oil and Gas Company has put into operation a mobile oil separator (MOS) unit at the South Azadegan oil field, capable of processing 5,000 barrels of crude oil per day, said the company's CEO, Hamid Deris, Trend reports.
Speaking to reporters, Deris noted that the equipment has been connected to 3 low-production wells and is currently enabling the extraction of around 1,500 barrels daily for preliminary processing.
Deris noted that the MOS unit is intended for reviving low-pressure or previously inactive wells, allowing the resumption of crude oil output. He also highlighted that Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, operating under the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), currently has a daily production capacity of 400,000 barrels of crude oil and over 7 million cubic meters of gas.
