Azerbaijan’s import bill for plastics grows in 6M2025
Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover grew to about $24 billion in the first half of 2025, driven by a strong rise in imports despite a slight drop in exports. This led to a positive trade balance of roughly $1.4 billion, significantly lower than last year’s surplus.
