TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 31. From January through June 2025, an average of 21,800 passengers were transported by air per day.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee shows
that this metric exhibited an uptick of 4,700 passengers relative
to the corresponding timeframe in 2024.
In this timeframe, the nation’s global aviation hubs facilitated an
aggregate of 7,059,084 passenger movements, comprising 1,252,724
domestic travelers and 5,806,359 international
sojourners—reflecting a 10 percent uptick in year-over-year
metrics.
The volume of air traffic managed by airports nationwide
experienced a significant uptick of 12 percent, culminating in a
total of 59,960 flight operations. A total of 17,553 were
categorized as domestic, while 42,407 fell under the international
classification.
