BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2. Sales of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) grew by 36 percent in the 4 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 - July 22, 2025), compared to the same period last year (March 20 - July 21, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from a report published by Codal.ir, a comprehensive database under Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization, shows that the company’s sales over the reporting period reached approximately 605 trillion rials (about $1.05 billion), whereas in the same period last year, the figure stood at 444 trillion rials (about $775 million).
The analysis indicates that the organization disclosed revenue
figures of 146 trillion rials (approximately $254 million) for the
fourth month exclusively, with domestic transactions constituting
125 trillion rials (roughly $217 million) and international
shipments totaling 21 trillion rials (around $36.7 million).
The National Iranian Copper Industries Company has previously
articulated that the nation possesses copper reserves quantified at
19 billion tons, with Sarcheshmeh and Sungun identified as the
principal copper extraction sites.
