BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. A total of 2.3 million passengers were transported by air in Azerbaijan from January through July 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that
metric experienced an annualized growth rate of 2.7 percent.
In the interim, a staggering 99.9 percent of the logistics
framework is dominated by state-owned entities, while a mere 0.1
percent is attributed to private sector carriers.
Airborne freight logistics experienced a contraction of 4.2
percent, resulting in a total throughput of 223,500 tons.
