BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. Metallurgical and finished metal products with a total value of 705.5 million manat ($415 million) were manufactured in Azerbaijan from January through July 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that
in juxtaposition with the corresponding timeframe of the preceding
fiscal year, the output of finished metal exhibited a contraction
of 10.4 percent, while metallurgical production experienced a
decline of 12 percent.
During the reporting interval, there was a contraction in the
output of metallurgical fittings by 12.8 percent, a decline in
steel casting production by 21.8 percent, a staggering reduction in
copper wire output by 89.7 percent, and a significant decrease in
the manufacturing of ancillary metal products for finished metal
production by 32.1 percent.
