ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 23. A total of 863,000 tons of diesel fuel has been allocated to support Kazakhstan’s agricultural producers this year, said Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov during a government meeting, Trend reports via the press service of the Kazakh Prime Minister.
Akkenzhenov emphasized that of this volume, 401,000 tons were distributed during the spring field season, 422,000 tons are being provided for the autumn season, and 40,000 tons have been earmarked for drying grain and oilseed crops.
''An additional 20,000 tons were supplied specifically for the autumn field campaign,'' he added.
The minister stressed that supply mechanisms are designed to ensure transparency, with digital labeling (PIN codes), color-coded fuel, and a separate virtual warehouse within the electronic invoice system. The average price per liter, including VAT, is set at $0.47.
A total of 238,000 tons of diesel fuel was delivered to farmers from July through September, which is 60 percent of the planned deliveries for the fall. Another 30,800 tons will be shipped in October and November.
Akkenzhenov stressed that the government continues to closely monitor the delivery of fuel to ensure farmers’ needs are met throughout the agricultural season.
