BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. Iran has boosted its non-oil exports to Tajikistan by 40 percent in value and 38.5 percent in volume during the five months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through August 22, 2025), compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through August 21, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administration (IRICA) indicates that Iran exported non-oil products worth $152 million, totaling 249,000 tons, up from $109 million and 180,000 tons in the previous year.
The main exports included petrochemical products, steel goods, agricultural products, and foodstuffs. Overall trade between Iran and Tajikistan reached $192 million and 271,000 tons, reflecting a 38 percent increase in value and a 40.4 percent rise in volume.
IRICA's data shows that Iran’s total non-oil exports for the five months amounted to $20.9 billion and 61.3 million tons, representing a slight decline of 6% in value and a 0.7 percent increase in volume compared to last year.
