TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 28. The construction of projects worth a total of 188.5 trillion soums ( $16.4 billion) was completed in Uzbekistan from January through August 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee indicate that this figure increased by 11.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The volume of construction work over recent years (from January through August) is as follows:

2021: 66.9 trillion soums ($5.8 billion)
