BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 14. Azerbaijan exported 6.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas in gaseous form to Türkiye from January through August 2025, earning $1.8 billion.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan indicates that this figure rose by $252.8 million, or 12.2 percent, while the export volume slightly declined by 42.5 million cubic meters, or 0.6 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan sold approximately 6.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Türkiye in the same period of 2024, generating about $2.1 billion.
To note, Azerbaijan exported a total of 16 billion cubic meters of natural gas to foreign countries from January through August 2025, with a combined value of $6 billion.
