TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 19. The volume of passenger air transportation in Uzbekistan increased by more than a quarter in January–September 2025, Trend reports via the country’s Statistics Committee.
Data presented shows that about 6.5 million passengers were transported by air during the nine-month period, an increase of 1.3 million people, or 26.2 percent, compared to the same period last year. On average, Uzbekistan’s airlines carried around 23,700 passengers per day.
Meanwhile, the National Statistics Committee reported that 205.7 million passengers used the Tashkent Metro between January and September 2025.
