BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. A meeting on the coordination of FM radio broadcasting stations between Azerbaijan and Iraq was held on the sidelines of the World Telecommunication Development Conference in Baku, Trend reports via the country's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The Azerbaijani delegation was represented by officials from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies, and the State Administration of Radio Frequencies.
During the discussions, the provisions outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Baghdad in 2023 were taken into consideration, leading to an agreement on the frequencies and other technical specifications for both existing and planned FM radio broadcasting stations between the two countries. A relevant protocol was subsequently signed to formalize these agreements.
The meeting concluded with a mutual decision to maintain ongoing cooperation on the aforementioned matters.
