Azerbaijan will host the forum of insurance agents, head of the State Insurance Supervision Service under the Finance Ministry, Namig Khalilov told Trend on Thursday.
The forum to be organised by the Ministry and Azerbaijani Insurers Association will be held on Dec.7.
"There are some problems. We have claims to insurance agents, as well as their questions and proposals to us. All this should be discussed. Such a meeting was not previously held," Khalilov said.
He said the meeting will consider the problems, shortcomings, proposals and other issues related to agent activity as a whole and compulsory insurance in particular.
There are more than 30 insurance agents in Azerbaijan - legal entities, more than 450 agents -physical entities, six insurance brokers - physical entities and six brokers - legal entities.
