Cotton growers of Turkmenistan are given an opportunity to sell fiber, lint, uluk, obtained from the industrial processing of raw cotton produced over public procurement, and abroad as well, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
Accordig to publication, it is possible through Ak-Altyn Trading Company, The State commodity and raw materials exchange of Turkmenistan, or on government procurement prices to Turkmenpagta (Turkmencotton) State Concern.
"It became another significant incentive to increase farmers' productivity and their interest in the cultivation of higher yields," the newspaper reported.
These days Turkmenistan started the cotton picking campaign for harvesting 1.05 million tons of cotton.
