Iran will remove taxes on exports, in the near future, Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade Minister, Mohammadreza Nematzadeh said, IRNA news agency reported.
He went on to note that, Iran's Tax Affairs Organization has accepted the issue and taxes on exports will be removed by the end of next week.
Iran has exported some $17.9 billion worth of non-oil goods during first half of the current solar year (which started on March 21), he added.
Nematzadeh also said that, the country's total exports value stood at $96 billions during 2012, including $37 billions worth of non-oil goods.
Iran's direct tax income has increased by 34 percent during the first half of the current solar year compared to the same period of the past year.
The direct tax income amounted to 130 trillion rials (about $5.2 billion based on the US dollar exchange rate of 24,900 rials) in the mentioned period.
In July, IRNA quoted Iran's Tax Affairs Organization Director Ali Askari as saying that Iran's tax revenues are projected to hit 450.8 trillion rials (about $18.1 billion) during the current solar year, up 35 percent year on year.
