by Daniyar Mukhtarov - Trend:
Over 164 billion tenge are planned to be spent from the national budget to finance the geological industry in Kazakhstan from 2015 to 2019, chairman of the Geology and Subsoil Committee under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Bazarbay Nurabayev said at a press conference in Astana on Feb. 4.
"The basis of holding the exploration operations is to examine the available data of the previous years," he said.
Kazakhstan plans to introduce the Russian Bonitet system of historical costs calculation, which will allow reducing the term of determining the value of geological information from 240 days to one day. The Kazakh government's decree on "Amendments and additions to the rules for determining historical costs and the value of geological information" was also signed.
The official exchange rate is 155.5 tenge/USD.
